It was worth a try for 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, but in the end, his social media persuasion didn't work with safety Eric Weddle. To make matters worse, Weddle is joining a rival.

Weddle agreed to terms on a two-year deal with the Rams on Friday after three seasons with the Ravens.

Juszczyk and Weddle played together for one season in Baltimore before the fullback came to the Bay Area. Both players made the Pro Bowl that season. Weddle recorded 89 tackles and four interceptions in 2016 while Juszczyk caught 37 passes out of the backfield.
