After reaching five straight NBA Finals from 2015-19 and taking on the role as the prohibitive favorite for most, if not all, of that span, the Warriors have been yearning to reach that status yet again.

According to the oddsmakers, they have.

Following the Phoenix Suns’ stunning Game 7 loss to the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference semifinals, the Warriors are now the betting favorite to take home the Larry O’Brien Trophy, according to odds provided by our partner, PointsBet.

With only four teams remaining and the conference finals set to begin this week, the Warriors are listed at +130 odds to win the NBA Finals, meaning a $100 bet would win you $130. The Boston Celtics have the second-best odds at +200, followed by the Miami Heat (+400) and the Dallas Mavericks (+650).

For the Warriors-Mavericks Western Conference finals series itself, PointsBet has the Warriors as heavy favorites at -225, meaning you’d have to pay $225 to win $100.

The No. 3-seeded Warriors, with a 53-29 regular-season record, will have homecourt advantage over the No.4-seeded Mavericks.

The oddsmakers clearly like Golden State’s chances of advancing past the Mavs, and if they do reach the NBA Finals, they’d have homecourt advantage over either the Heat or Celtics as well.

The Warriors know they’ll have their hands full with Luka Doncic and the Mavericks, who have really blossomed in the second half of the season and put on a defensive clinic in shutting down the Suns on Sunday.

But Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Co. will be well-rested and know they have the championship DNA to win what would be an incredible fourth championship together.
