How Warriors' Finals wins eerily correlate to rapper Kendrick Lamar

The Warriors are back in the NBA Finals and just four wins away from their fourth championship in eight seasons.

For the Hip Hop-loving Dubs fans out there, it could end up being a great summer.

Golden State advanced to the Finals after Thursday night's 120-110 win over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 5 of the Western Conference finals at Chase Center. Exactly two weeks ago, rapper Kendrick Lamar released his fifth studio album, titled "Mr. Morale & the Big Stepper," which coincidentally, is a good sign for Golden State's upcoming Finals matchup.

Bay Area sports fans are quite familiar with the album release-championship win correlation. Just ask San Francisco Giants fans, who can't help but get excited every time Taylor Swift releases a new album.

In the Finals, Golden State will face off against the winner of the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat Eastern Conference finals series.

Either matchup would be challenging for the Warriors, but if history is any indicator, they gon' be alright.
