Buddy Hield keeps re-writing the Sacramento Kings' record book.

On Monday night, the shooting guard hit a Kings' franchise-record 11 3-pointers against the Celtics.

It was also Hield's first career 40-point effort as he finished with a game-high 41 points.

Unfortunately for Hield and the Kings, both accomplishments came in a losing cause as Boston pulled out a 103-102 win at TD Garden.

Hield joined some impressive company with 11 made 3-pointers in a loss.

Mike Bibby and Omri Casspi shared the old franchise single-game record of nine made 3-pointers.

Last season, Hield set the Kings' single-season record with 278 3-pointers.

The next record for Hield to take aim at is Peja Stojakovic's career franchise record of 1,070 3-pointers.

The way Hield is shooting, that mark could fall by the end of next season or early in the 2021-22 season.
