The Raiders are set to begin a new era in Las Vegas when the 2020 NFL season gets underway. But fans will not be able to enjoy the festivities in person at home games this year.

The Raiders informed their season ticket holders Monday that fans will not be allowed at Allegiant Stadium this season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Here is part of a letter owner Mark Davis sent fans to inform them of the news.

The Raiders made this choice on their own. As of this publishing, the NFL has not created a mandate regarding fans at games this season.

Despite the pandemic, the Raiders, as well as every other NFL team, still arrived for training camp. There is a big change for the Raiders this year, though. Instead of hosting training camp in Napa, which they originally planned to do despite their move, league rules state the Raiders had to hold camp at their new facility in Henderson, Nevada.

The Las Vegas Raiders era is underway, but fans will have to watch from afar.
