49ers-Giants injury report: Reuben Foster, Jaquiski Tartt still unable to go

SANTA CLARA — The 49ers have a few days to get healthy, but linebacker Reuben Foster and safety Jaquiski Tartt are still lingering on the injury report.

The 49ers have an extra day to get ready for their Monday night match up against the New York Giants. But, it looks as though both Tartt and Foster will not be available.

The team has one more full practice before the game on Saturday, but neither Tartt or Foster have even been bumped up to limited participation.

Coach Kyle Shanahan tends to put players in the game that got more reps during the week. As the week progresses the likelihood of them playing diminishes.

Anton Exum Jr. has been a full participant in practice after clearing the concussion protocol. He will likely see playing time if Tartt is unavailable.

Tight end George Kittle was limited in practice again due to a chest contusion. If he continues the week without setbacks, he will likely be available for Monday night’s game. The situation is similar for center Weston Richburg who has a lingering knee injury.

Wide receiver Pierre Garçon was held out of practice for the second day in a row. If he is unable to play because of his knee injury, Trent Taylor will likely be back on the list of active players on Monday night.
