Klay Thompson currently is rehabbing from the torn ACL he suffered in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals. But that doesn't mean he still can't get buckets.
The Warriors star guard has been enjoying his offseason, and he was back in the Bay on Wednesday at VMworld 2019. Thompson was hosting a fundraiser with Rubrik that involved contestants shooting free throws to benefit his foundation. Of course, if there's a hoop, people are going to want Klay to show off his world-renowned shooting stroke, no matter how many legs he's standing on.
Thompson is no stranger to performing under pressure, so he stepped back to around 3-point range and knocked them down.

And hey, Klay even showed a little hop in there. It looks like rehab is coming along well, but Thompson still is expected to be out until February or March. In his absence, the new-look Warriors will be tasked with staying afloat in the brutal Western Conference.
Once Thompson returns, expect the three-time NBA champion to look to prove he and the Warriors still are a force to be reckoned with. (And since that stroke isn't changing, they will be.)
