The celebration that has taken the sports world by storm is making its way to the virtual realm.
On Friday, 2K Sports released a "first-look" look trailer on YouTube for NBA 2K23, the latest installment in the long-running basketball simulation series. As is the case with these gameplay trailers, various stars are highlighted, such as Zach LaVine, Ja Morant, Zion Williamson, LeBron James, and Steph Curry, doing what they do in real games, be it dunking, shooting 3-pointers, and so on.
However, along with showcasing Steph splashing a 3-pointer, his now-iconic "night night" celebration was featured as well in this year's game.

With how massive the "night night" celebration has gotten, it only makes sense for it to be included in the world's most popular basketball sim. Athletes of all backgrounds, from Alex Morgan of the USWNT to children all over the world, have embraced it as a fun way to add some personality to their respective sports.
It wouldn't be surprising to see the celebration take off even more in the upcoming 2022-23 NBA season as the Warriors look to repeat as champs.
