Klay Thompson took to Instagram on Tuesday afternoon to provide the people with an update.
The three-time NBA champion recently went through a workout at Chase Center.

His IG post also contained the following caption:
"DubNation , I still have a really long , long , LOOOONG way to go . But my goodness, it felt so dang good to get up and down and see the ball go thru the net . Can’t wait to burn em down next year ?? ? ?! Big milestone for me this week #jackiemoon #wetfire [camera emoji] @thepeopleloveit."
Klay -- who tore his right Achilles tendon Nov. 18 and underwent surgery a week later -- has not played since he tore his left ACL during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.

The expectation is that he will return at some point early in the 2021-22 season.
"Game 1, I don't know if that's realistic or not," Bob Myers said in late May. "What we're focused on is when do we expect Klay to be Klay, and I don't know if that will be January, February, March, it's too early to say.
"We're not going to throw him out there if he's not ready, and he's doing everything he can to get back."
