Rudy Gobert just gave the latest update on his beef with Draymond Green, and the gag is that there is none.
Well, at least on his end.
The 7-foot-1 Utah Jazz center sat down with Bleacher Report’s Taylor Rooks to give his take on his relationship with Green.

“I’m not talking about him,” Gobert said. “When I see him in person, he’s always really nice and respectful. So as long as that stays the same. I think that what’s being said about me on podcasts, it’s not just Draymond, it’s a lot of guys that try to discredit what I do every night, who I am as a player. It’s part of it. But for me, I will always take it as respect. If I was an average defensive player, an average player, they wouldn’t talk about me. I will always take it as respect.”
Speculations got stirred up when Green publicly expressed his disapproval of being compared to Gobert.
The Warriors' forward said he doesn’t like the comparison and made that perfectly clear during the 2022 NBA All-Star Weekend broadcast on TNT.
"You keep mentioning me in the same sentence with him,” Green told the TNT crew on Sunday. “We're not alike."

"You're not like Rudy Gobert?" Kenny Smith asked.
“Nah, we ain't nothing alike,” Green responded.
The two often get compared because of their role as defensive anchors on their respective teams.
But other than being compared for their defensive IQs, the so-called “beef” goes back even further.
In 2019, Green mocked Gobert for crying over getting snubbed for the All-Star game.
But Gobert has remained unbothered.

“Guys have platforms, they have a voice,” he told Rooks. “When their voice can affect the average narrative, it can affect people’s opinions, it’s their right to use it. For me, I’m never going to talk down on anyone. I respect all of these guys. I respect everyone in the league, being in the league is already a big accomplishment. I show respect. If you disrespect me in person, it’s a different story but you can say whatever you want about me.
"Once again, when I talk about Draymond, or anyone else, I show respect. If these guys want to disrespect me, it’s their choice. I’m a quiet person and some guys are different, and they’re going to express their mind and it’s fine. People love beef. Beef generates more interaction. I get it. But I’m chilling. I don’t have beef with anyone.”
