After dropping 47 points against the Kings on Nov. 7, Steph Curry continued to show his otherworldly efficiency in the Warriors' 106-101 win against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Chase Center.
Along with hitting a 3-pointer for the 200th straight regular-season game, the Warriors star finished with 40 points against the Cavaliers on Friday night, joining Michael Jordan in an exclusive club with back-to-back 40-plus point performances.

Curry had 40 points on 15-of-23 shooting from the field and 6-of-11 from beyond the arc in Golden State's impressive victory over a feisty Cavaliers squad.
The 34-year-old is also the fifth player in NBA history to record 40 or more points in back-to-back games at 34 or older, joining Jordan, the late Kobe Bryant, Hakeem Olajuwon and Bernard King.
Curry is also the first player in NBA history to record consecutive games scoring 40-plus points with five or more 3-pointers made, on 65 percent (or better) shooting from the field.
Twelve games into the season, 11 of which he has played in, Curry is averaging 33.3 points on 53 percent shooting from the field, 44 percent from 3-point land and 91 percent from the free-throw line in
If Curry's able to maintain that pace for the rest of the season, it will be the second time in NBA history that will have happened.
The first time that happened was in 2016, when Curry accomplished that same feat, en route to a unanimous MVP and a 73-win season.
To add to the absurdity, Curry's 40 points outpaced the rest of the Warriors starters combined (38) Friday night.
Over his last three games, the Warriors star is averaging 42.0 points, 7.3 assists and 5.0 rebounds per game, shooting 65.2 percent from the field, an incredible 55.3 percent from 3-point land and 83.3 percent from the stripe.
Furthermore, Curry's 68.5 true shooting percentage is the second-highest of any player averaging over 15 points per game, behind only Mikal Bridges (15.7 points on 69 percent).
Lastly, although Curry is 24th in the NBA in usage rate, he is second in the NBA in scoring (32.6) behind only Luka Dončić (33.6).
From swishing a half-court shot just after the buzzer sounded to unleashing a 15-point fourth-quarter flurry that left the NBA in awe, it's safe to say Curry had himself a game.
