San Francisco shipped away relievers Mark Melancon, Sam Dyson, Drew Pomeranz and Ray Black. But they held on to ace Madison Bumgarner and All-Star Will Smith.
The Giants also acquired former All-Star second base Scooter Gennett, along with a multitude of prospects.
