Sharks head coach Peter DeBoer said that Pavelski's status will be revealed Wednesday before the do-or-die game at SAP Center in San Jose.
"I'm not hiding anything," DeBoer told the media on a Tuesday conference call.

Pavelski suffered a brutal head injury in the Sharks' Game 7 comeback win against the Vegas Golden Knights in the first round of the playoffs. He hasn't played since, though the captain could be nearing his return.
“It’s close,” Pavelski told the media before Monday's game. “We’re still checking out a few things here and there and seeing where it needs to get to and how fast.”
DeBoer says once Pavelski is cleared to play, the Sharks coach will have no hesitations of getting his center on the ice. Pavelski scored four points -- two goals and two assists -- in the Sharks' series win over Vegas.
