The 49ers are scheduled to visit Wednesday in Santa Clara with Florida State dual-threat running back Dalvin Cook, a league source told NBC Sports Bay Area.
Cook rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of his three college seasons. Cook rushed for 1,691 and 19 touchdowns as a sophomore. He followed that up with 1,765 yards rushing and 19 touchdowns as a junior before declaring for the draft.
Cook was also a highly productive pass-catcher out of the backfield. He had 33 receptions for 488 yards in his final college season.
