The 49ers have an intriguing Week 15 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
It’ll be two backup quarterbacks going up against one another with Nick Mullens facing Andy Dalton at AT&T Stadium. This is the first time since 2014 the Cowboys have hosted the 49ers, and the first time the two teams have met since 2017.
The Cowboys are coming off a nice 30-7 win last week over the Cincinnati Bengals in which Dalton passed for 185 yards and two touchdowns. He also didn’t throw any interceptions.

For the 49ers, it wasn’t as successful. The team fell 23-15 to the Washington Football Team. Two of Mullens’ turnovers were returned for scores. But Brandon Aiyuk put up a solid game, as he typically has in his rookie season. The Arizona State product caught a career-high 10 receptions for a career-high 119 yards in the loss.
