Rams acquire edge rusher Dante Fowler from Jaguars for two draft picks

The rich keep getting richer.

The 8-0 Los Angeles Rams have acquired edge rusher Dante Fowler from the Jaguars for a 2019 third-round pick and a 2020 fifth-round pick.

The teams announced the trade shortly before the 1pm PT trade deadline.

ESPN's Adam Schefter was first to report news of an agreement.

Fowler, the No. 3 overall pick in 205, has seven total tackles and two sacks in seven games this season with Jacksonville.

Fowler joins a defensive front on the Rams that features Aaron Donald, Ndamukong Suh and Michael Brockers.
