
The 49ers signed outside linebacker Eric Bakhtiari to a two-year deal Wednesday after a 53-man roster spot opened up in the wake of Clark Haggans' three-game suspension.

Bakhtiari played under Jim Harbaugh at University of San Diego before spending 2008-2011 bouncing around the league, including stops in San Diego, San Francisco, Tampa Bay, tennessee, Miami, Kansas City and Cleveland.
At 27 years old, Bakhtiari has only suited up in three NFL games, all in 2009 with the Titans. He has yet to record a tackle in his NFL career.
