The Web site TuBasket published a report Friday that Biedrins signed in his home country, with Latvian League champions VEF Riga. Another site, Blic Sport, reported that he'd signed with Turkish team Anadolu Efes.
Biedrins averaged 5.0 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game last season, a year in which he was plagued by injury and struggles at the free-throw line (.160 shooting percentage). In seven seasons with Golden State, he's averaged 7.7 ppg, 8.0 rpg and 1.2 bpg.
