
The Sacramento Kings today signed first-round draft pick Thomas Robinson to a contract, according to Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.
The Kings selected Robinson with the fifth overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft. Per team policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Robinson, the Big 12 Player of the Year and First Team All-American, led the nation in double-doubles (27) and was second in rebounding in 2011-12.

He averaged 17.7 points and 11.9 rebounds per game as a junior last season, and led Kansas to the national championship game, where the Jayhawks lost to Kentucky.
