Steph Curry keeps promise to 9-year-old fan just in time for Christmas

Steph Curry made good on his promise to a 9-year-old girl just in time for Christmas.

Riley Morrison wrote to the Warriors superstar last month, asking why Under Armour didn't carry Curry's signature shoe in the girls section of their website. Curry responded in kind, inviting Morrison to a game on International Women's Day on March 8 and offering to send her a pair of the Curry 5s and of the then-yet-to-be-released Curry 6s.

Morrison got her hands on the shoes this week, and her father Chris posted the reaction on his Instagram.

In the video, Morrison asked the question that would be on every kid's mind if they knew a gift was coming since November: What took so long?

"Did they come early and you were waiting for Christmas," she asked.

"[SC30 President Bryant Barr] suggested that we wait," he said.
