Draymond Green didn't play in the second half of the Warriors' blowout loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on Sunday, but Golden State coach Steve Kerr said the forward sounded hopeful he wouldn't miss too much time with a sprained ankle.
"Yeah, I talked to him at halftime. He didn't think it was too bad," Kerr told reporters in a postgame video conference following the Warriors' 117-91 loss.
Green played just 12:54, spraining his left ankle in the second quarter. The 30-year-old got tangled up with Kentavious Caldwell-Pope after defending the Lakers guard's layup.

The Warriors struggled with Green on the floor, getting outscored by 22 points in his minutes as the Lakers took an early lead and never looked back. None of the starters had a much better night in terms of plus-minus, as each of the five players was at least a minus-15.
