The As announced Monday they have recalled three players from Triple-A Sacramento.Righthanded pitcher Jesse Chavez, and infielders Daric Barton and Jemile Weeks are headed to the big club from the River Cats.
Barton joins the As for the second time this year after batting .255 with eight home runs and 35 RBI in 74 games with Sacramento. Chavez was acquired from the Toronto Blue Jays August 24 for cash considerations and was optioned to Sacramento where he posted a 1.80 ERA in two games, one start.
