The Rams are apparently in the market for a veteran safety.
The team, which reportedly met with ex-49ers and Browns defensive back Donte Whitner in April, also reportedly hosted his ex-teammate Dashon Goldson.
Goldson, released by Washington, met with the Los Angeles Rams on Thursday, May 12, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Goldson, 31, spent the first six seasons of his NFL career in San Francisco after being selected by the team in the fourth round of the 2007 draft.
From 2011-12, the hard-hitting defender blossomed into a two-time Pro Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro.
Goldson later signed a five-year deal with Tampa Bay, but was traded by the Buccaneers to Washington after just two seasons.
