Long-time front office executive John Herrera is no longer with the Oakland Raiders, Herrera told CSNBayArea.com Raiders Insider Paul Gutierrez Thursday evening.
Herrera's roots with the Raiders trace back to his days as a team ball boy, but officially joined the franchise as Director of Public Relations in 1978. He left in 1982 to take an opportunity in the Canadian Football League.
Herrera returned to the Raiders in 1985 as Senior Executive and has been a fixture in the Oakland front-office for the 26 years since.
