JaMarcus Russell clearly didn't watch film — here's the hilarious story

JaMarcus Russell wowed the Raiders with his arm strength and incredible pre-draft workout so much that the quarterback became the No. 1 pick in the 2007 NFL Draft. That clearly wasn't smart.

Now considered one of the biggest busts in NFL history, plenty of blame falls on Russell for his lowly career. He passed the eye test with flying colors, but it's about so much more than that in the NFL.

Former NFL offensive lineman David Diehl painted the picture of Russell's career with the Raiders by telling a hilarious story Sunday on New York's WFAN.

That explains a lot.

Russell's NFL career only last three seasons, playing in 31 games. He threw for 4,083 yards and had 18 touchdowns to 23 interceptions.
