The 49ers have signed safety Mark LeGree to the practice squad and released wide receiver John Matthews, the team announced Tuesday.
LeGree continues his trip around the NFC West; he was drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round this year and promptly released after training camp. Then he signed with the Cardinals on Sept. 21 and was released Oct. 5.
LeGree, 22, was a teammate of 49ers rookie guard Daniel Kilgore at Appalachian State, where he was a three-time All-American.
