Bad news for the Kings.
Star point guard De'Aaron Fox suffered an ankle sprain during practice Monday and will be re-evaluated in three to four weeks, the team announced.
ESPN's Zach Lowe first reported Fox's injury.
Fox, 22, is in the middle of an impressive third season with the Kings, averaging 18.2 points and seven assists per game. He's been tasked with leading the team to the playoffs for the first time since 2006, which would be an even taller task if he is forced to miss any time.
Sacramento is set to host the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday, and will have to do so without their rising star.
