
The Warriors signed free agent center Keith Benson to a 10-day contract, the team announced in a press release Saturday. Terms of the deal were not made public.
Benson, 23, had appeared in all 20 games for the D-League Sioux Falls Skyforce before getting the call. He was averaging 15.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks in 30.6 minutes per game, and is coming off a 17-point, 11-rebound effort Fiday vs. Bakersfield.
Benson will be in uniform wearing No. 34 for the Warriors against the Kings Saturday.
