49ers' Kittle, Lance, Jones lead ‘Beat LA' chant at Game 5

What better way to spend your week off than cheering on a fellow San Francisco team in the playoffs?

49ers tight end George Kittle, quarterback Trey Lance and defensive tackle DJ Jones were at Oracle Park for the San Francisco Giants' NLDS Game 5 matchup against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday night.

The 49ers aren't the only Bay Area sports team supporting the Giants in the winner-take-all Game 5.

Prior to Kittle, Lance and Jones' "Beat LA" chant, former Giants catcher and Stanford quarterback Brian Johnson threw out the first pitch. Johnson known for his heroic efforts in the iconic "Brian Johnson Game" against the Dodgers in 1997, was a fitting choice to throw out the first pitch in one of, if not the biggest game between these two rivals.
