MILWAUKEE — Chase Anderson entered Tuesday night’s game riding back-to-back scoreless starts. This result, then, was just about as predictable as it gets.

Here are five things to know from a night that would have been worse had the Brewers held on to Scooter Gennett ...
--- Matt Cain gave up five runs in five innings. He has a road ERA of 8.40 in six starts away from AT&T Park. Matt Moore is at 7.94 away from home. The thing is, you play half your games away from home. There’s a reason this team is 11-22 on the road.
--- Can Sam Dyson hit?
--- Cain gave up 10 hits in the first four innings, so it’s hard to say he was unlucky. But … he did pay dearly for a tough break. With two outs in the second, Eric Sogard hit a flare to left that dropped between three Giants and just missed Brandon Crawford’s outstretched glove. Two runs scored, and the Brewers would tack on another run in the inning.
