Giants' 60-game 2020 schedule not shown by MLB Network during reveal

According to MLB Network, the National League West is a four-team division.

During the network's hour-long 2020 schedule release show Monday, the 60-game slates for the Los Angeles Dodgers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres were shown.

The Giants' schedule was not shown.

The Giants aren't expected to contend for an MLB playoff spot this season, but they don't deserve this kind of shade. Put some respect on the 2010, 2012 and 2014 World Series champions.

Without the help of MLB Network, the Giants released their complete schedule shortly after 4 p.m. PT on Monday. Gabe Kapler's first regular-season game as manager of the Giants comes against his former employer, the Dodgers, on Thursday, July 23 in Los Angeles.

The Giants players have more important things to worry about right now, but if any of them were watching MLB Network's show in the clubhouse at Oracle Park, maybe they'll use the slight as motivation during the 2020 season.

As Mr. Pavlovic pointed out, it is an Even Year.
