The A's have agreed to a deal with Cuban outfielder Yoenis Cespedes, according to multiple reports.
ESPN's Buster Olney said in a Twitter report that Cespedes got a four-year, 36 million deal.

Many teams were reportedly interested in the 26-year-old slugger. In 90 games in Cuba last season, he hit .333 with 33 homers and 99 RBIs. Cespedes was named to the All-Tournament Team at the 2009 World Baseball Classic.

Cespedes is in the U.S. via the Dominican Republic on a visitor's visa. Teams can negotiate with him and his agent, Adam Katz. He was declared a free agent by Major League Baseball in January but has not been legally cleared by the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control.
The Marlins offered Cespedes a six-year deal worth about 40 million during his visit to the teams new ballpark Wednesday, according to Caf Fuerte, a Miami-area blog. The Miami Herald reports the offer is less than 40 million.
