After less than a full season with the 49ers, Emmanuel Sanders reportedly has a new team.
ESPN's Josina Anderson reported Friday night that Sanders had told her that he is signing with the New Orleans Saints, pending a physical.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Sanders is signing a two-year contract with New Orleans worth up to $19 million.
After coming over in a midseason trade with the Denver Broncos, Sanders immediately became one of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's favorite targets. He trailed only George Kittle among all San Francisco pass-catchers in receptions and yardage following his arrival. He played a critical role in the 49ers' thrilling 48-46 Week 14 win in New Orleans, and served as a much-needed mentor for San Francisco's collection of young receivers.

Sanders, 33, likely was going to have to take a pay cut in order to return to the 49ers. It appears he found another desirable destination, where he should continue to be able to compete for a Super Bowl title.
