CB Vontae Davis picks new team, but it's not 49ers or Raiders

Veteran cornerback Vontae Davis visited both Bay Area teams last week, but he won't make either Oakland or Santa Clara home.

Instead, the 29-year-old appears to be joining the Buffalo Bills.

At 4:10pm PT, Davis tweeted out "#BillsMafia," which is the moniker used by Bills fans.

Davis' contract with Buffalo is a one-year deal, according to ESPN.

Last week, ESPN reported that Davis met with the 49ers, Bills and Browns. A day later, NFL Network indicated that Davis would also meet with the Raiders while in the Bay Area.

The brother of former 49ers tight end Vernon Davis, Vontae is a nine-year NFL veteran. He was released by the Colts in November after playing in just five games.
