PITTSBURGH Pro Bowl cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha's right ankle has not responded enough to allow him to play today against the Steelers and he was listed as inactive.Joining Asomugha on the inactive list, receivers Chaz Schilens and Darrius Heyward-Bey, who also missed the Pittsburgh game last season, rookie cornerback Walter McFadden, who will not have a chance to play against his brother, Steelers CB Bryant McFadden, running back Michael Bennett, linebacker Bruce Davis and offensive guard Daniel Loper. Kyle Boller is the third quarterback, meaning Bruce Gradkowski is officially No. 2, backing up Jason Campbell. Chris Johnson will start in place of Asomugha, who has not played since spraining his ankle on Halloween against Seattle, and Johnnie Lee Higgins is listed as starting for Heyward-Bey, who strained a hamstring in a bye week practice, according to coach Tom Cable.The Steelers inactives: safety Will Allen, running back Jonathan Dwyer, cornerback Crezdon Butler, offensive tackles Chris Scott and Tony Hills and defensive ends Aaron Smith and Brett Keisel. Charlie Batch is Pittsburgh's No. 3 QB. Nick Eason starts in place of Keisel; Ramon Foster at right guard in place of Trai Essex.
