Warriors reserve guard Charlie Bell was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence in downtown Oakland on early Friday morning.
Bell released the following statement after his teammate Reggie Williams picked him up from a downtown Oakland jail on Friday morning:

News
We are aware of the incident in which Charlie Bell was arrested on suspicion of a DUI early Friday morning and have informed the league office of the situation as we know it. We are obviously disappointed that one of our players would put himself in a questionable positionregardless of the final outcomeas this is certainly something we do not condone as an organization and take very seriously. As an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment until there is a resolution to this situation.
Bell, 31, has appeared in 15 games for the Warriors, averaging 1.2 points, .7 rebounds, .7 assists and 7.8 minutes per game. He was acquired from Milwaukee in the trade that sent Corey Maggette to the Bucks.
