De’Aaron Fox played extremely well in the bubble and executives around the NBA have taken notice.

In the NBA’s annual GM survey, Fox made his way onto the list of “which player is most likely to have a breakout season in 2020-21?”

The Kings’ starting point guard garnered 12 percent of the vote, just behind both OKC’s Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Nuggets’ Michael Porter Jr., who both received 15 percent of the vote.

This isn’t the first time that Fox has received praise around the league. He came in third place for the league’s Most Improved Player following the 2018-19 season.

Fox averaged 21.1 points and 6.8 assists per game last season, but in six games in the Orlando bubble, he averaged 26.2 points, 7.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game in 34.7 minutes.

The Kings have built their roster around Fox, who turns 23-years-old on Sunday. They rewarded him with a five-year, $163 million extension and he is considered the face of the franchise in Sacramento.

Phoenix's Devin Booker tied with the New Orleans big man Zion Williamson for fourth place on the list, with each receiving eight percent of the vote.
