Well, all that losing the second half of the season apparently paid off for the Warriors. They got the news they wanted on Wednesday night when the ping-pong balls bounced exactly like they were supposed to, and the Warriors ended up with the No. 7 pick in the NBA draft on June 28.The Warriors entered the draft lottery slotted in the seventh spot, and had approximately a 72 percent chance to keep their pickor even move up into the top three. They didnt get that lucky, but they got lucky enough. The Warriors were 18-21 just past the midway point of the 2011-12 season, but lost 22 of their final 27 games to finish tied for the seventh-worst record in the league with Toronto.
