Warriors' Curry to have ankle re-evaluated

OAKLANDThe Warriors said that they are unlikely to have news on Stephen Currys ankle until early next week. The plan was for team doctors to evaluate Curry before Saturdays game against Utah, which will still occur.Curry will fly to Charlotte for an examination on Monday with Dr. Robert Anderson, who performed surgery to strengthen the ankle in May.Curry has sprained his ankle three times this season, including the preseason. Curry will miss Saturdays game against Utah.

The Warriors have two home games next weekon Tuesday against Miami and Thursday against Orlandoso it is conceivable Curry could return for one of those games. Then again, the Warriors play at Charlotte on Jan. 14 so it seems illogical for Curry to return to the Bay Area after his examination, then return to Charlotte shortly thereafter.
