OAKLAND – Warriors forward Andre Iguodala was a late scratch from the game Monday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The veteran was experiencing tightness in his right hip, the team announced in the second quarter.
This is the third game Iguodala has missed this season, after he sat out two games in the first three weeks due to tightness in his left calf.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr acknowledged before the game that he intends to rest his veterans -- particularly Shaun Livingston and Iguodala -- sometime this month. Both likely would have rested sooner if not for injuries to Draymond Green and Stephen Curry.
Iguodala’s soreness is not expected to sideline him on Wednesday, when the Warriors face the Toronto Raptors at Oracle.
