The Warriors did it.
After embarrassing themselves with a chance to close out the Western Conference semifinals on Wednesday, a true team effort lifted Golden State over the Memphis Grizzlies for a 110-96 Game 6 victory at Chase Center two days later on Friday night to advance to the next round.
The Warriors wouldn’t be on their way to the Western Conference finals without a clutch fourth-quarter performance that had NBA Twitter abuzz during the game’s final minutes.

There were Kevon Looney rebounds left and right, Game 6 Klay completed his triumphant return, and it was almost as if Twitter users couldn’t decide which epic moment they wanted to tweet about.
Klay Thompson caught fire early and lit up the crowd with his performance, which saw him finish the close-out game with a team-high 30 points (tying Dillon Brooks for the game-high total), eight rebounds and two assists.
Twitter gave Looney his flowers, too, as he finished the night with a whopping 22 rebounds after returning to the starting lineup for Game 6.
And of course, NBA players had to get in on the social media action.
With the win, the Warriors head to their sixth Western Conference finals since 2015.
And Dub Nation rightfully celebrated.
Now, all Golden State can do is wait and see if they'll face the Phoenix Suns or the Dallas Mavericks for Game 1 of the conference finals on Wednesday.
