Steph Curry had a simple message Tuesday as Damian Lillard added another ridiculous playoff performance to his career highlight reel.
What else was there for the Warriors star to say when Lillard scored 55 points against the Denver Nuggets, doing his absolute damnedest to keep his sixth-seeded Portland Trail Blazers alive during a pivotal Game 5? Lillard scored 17 of his points in the first and second overtimes, but it wasn't enough to lift Portland to a Game 5 win over Denver.

The Oakland native hit an NBA-record 12 3-pointers in the contest, breaking Warriors star Klay Thompson's record from 2016. Oh, and Lillard also did this.
A banked-in, step-back, 26-foot 3-pointer to send the game to a second overtime? No wonder Curry, Lillard's only step-back shooting peer, tipped his cap.
Curry wasn't alone, either. Kevin Durant and Draymond Green were among the NBA stars to pay homage.

Curry, surely, could also relate to how Lillard's night ended, considering he couldn't carry the Warriors into a playoff spot for all of his superhuman efforts this season. Lillard on Tuesday became the first player to score 50-plus points and dish out at least 10 assists in a playoff game, but the Trail Blazers will face elimination in Game 6 on Thursday.

Still, Lillard's Game 5 showed you'd be foolish to count him and the Blazers out of the series. Curry certainly won't.
