It appears that Shaun Livingston will return to the Warriors for the 2016-17 season.

Golden State is "definitely keeping the veteran point guard," according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Back in the summer of 2013, Livingston signed a 3-year contract worth around $16.6 million, with the final year containing $3 million guaranteed.

The Warriors could waive the 30-year old before June 30 and save approximately $2.78 million.

But now, Livingston is reportedly set to earn $5,782,450 next season.

"I would love to be back with Warriors next year and feel there is something special cultivating with the organization," Livingston told Stein. "The time spent there has allowed me the platform to see the ingredients of winning and the importance of culture.

"With KD (Kevin Durant), the ball is in his court and it should be. He's earned this right and he has to make the best decision for him and his family."

The Warriors will reportedly meet with Durant and his representatives on Friday in The Hamptons.

Livingston averaged 6.3 points and 3.0 rebounds over 19.5 minutes per game during the regular season.

During the playoffs, he registered 8.2 points, 3.3 assists and 3.2 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per contest. He scored 20 points in the Warriors' Game 1 win over the Cavs in the NBA Finals.
