Zaza Pachulia took less money last summer to join Golden State.
And the Warriors are expected to re-sign their starting center, according to USA Today Sports' Sam Amick.
Pachulia averaged 6.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.9 assists over 70 games last season.

He shot over 53 percent from the field and just under 78 percent from the free throw line.
Despite the fact he only averaged 18 minutes per night, Pachulia finished 15th in the NBA in screen assists per game (3.5).
Pachulia made slightly less than $2.9 million last season.

The Warriors could give him the entire taxpayer mid-level exception of $5.2 million (very unlikely).
They could also use Pachulia's non-bird rights and give him a 20 percent raise to a little below $3.5 million.
Or, Pachulia could sign for the veteran minimum of about $2.3 million -- which is what David West will reportedly re-sign for.
JaVale McGee -- the other member of the Warriors' 3-man center rotation (when they didn't go small) -- is an unrestricted free agent as well.
