Poole channels Steph with clutch half-court buzzer-beater

The bank was open after hours for Warriors guard Jordan Poole.

Poole banked in a buzzer-beating half-court shot Monday, concluding the third quarter of the Warriors' game against the Utah Jazz by giving Golden State what was its largest lead of the contest. The 21-year-old handed the Warriors an 89-75 advantage going into the fourth quarter with the 3-pointer.

Shades of Steph Curry.

Poole scored 10 points (on 4-of-7 shooting and 2-of-5 on 3-pointers) through the first three quarters, reaching double figures for the sixth time in seven games in May. The second-year pro has cooled down considerably since averaging 18.5 points per game in March, then shooting just 34.6 percent from the field in April.

Perhaps a little bit of luck is just what Poole needs to rediscover his shooting stroke.
