Pelicans give Darren Erman ‘a little hell' for high five with Steph Curry

Midway through the third quarter on Tuesday night, the Warriors led 79-75.

The shot clock was winding down and Steph Curry let a deep two go right in front of the New Orleans bench.

Splash.

Curry reached his hand out towards Pelicans assistant Darren Erman, who obliged and gave Curry a high five.

During a film session on Wednesday morning, the Pelicans singled out that play.

"We gave him a little hell about it," Anthony Davis told ESPN's Justin Verrier.

Erman was a Warriors assistant coach from 2010 to 2014.

Curry was asked about the high five following the win.

"I know him very well," Curry explained. "He was telling I think Jrue (Holiday) while I'm shooting, he's yelling out, 'If he makes it it's a good shot, if he makes it it's a good shot.' Trying to encourage their defense, so I wanted a little praise for that good shot I made.

"And he gave it to me. He was a good sport."
