Nico Mannion had nine games with the Warriors under his belt before Monday, but he experienced a true rite of passage against the Los Angeles Lakers in his 10th.
Mannion, listed at 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, was on the receiving end of a hard screen from 6-foot-9, 250-pound Lakers star LeBron James during the second quarter of Monday's game.

The 20-year-old probably didn't encounter too many opponents built like James while he played against Pac-12 competition with Arizona last season. It's probably fair to say Mannion didn't play against many James-sized G Leaguers in Orlando, Fla. last month, either.

Mannion was no worse for wear, finishing the first half with six points, an assist and a rebound in just shy of seven minutes. James, meanwhile, ended the half with nine points, six assists and four rebounds, along with five of the Lakers' 11 turnovers.
His screen is probably something Mannion won't forget anytime soon, though.
