Klay explains how CBD has helped him recover from knee injury

It's been well over 16 months since Klay Thompson tore his left ACL during Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.

The Warriors' star shooting guard is champing at the bit to return to game action, and will be 100 percent ready to go whenever Golden State opens training camp for the 2020-21 season.

It's been a long road to recovery for the three-time NBA champion, and the journey led to an opportunity to partner with a new CBD (cannabidiol) brand called Just Live.

“After being injured and with what I want to do with the rest of my career and how I want to prepare myself off the court, you want to take more organic and natural ways of healing instead of in the past, whether it was opioids or some kind of prescribed medicines prepared for me,” Klay explained to Marc Spears of The Undefeated. “It’s organic. It’s a natural way with CBD. I think in a way that is the future.”

Has CBD been beneficial throughout the rehab process?

"It has helped with sleep," the five-time NBA All-Star told Spears. "I’m sleeping eight hours now and I really need that. It has helped with performance. It has definitely helped me with body aches that I have had on a daily basis.

"As an athlete you want to give your best and push yourself, that comes with pain. It goes hand in hand with what it is doing for me. I’ve only used it for a few months, but it definitely helps."

Let's just say that it's not a surprise to learn that the two-time All-NBA selection has teamed up with a company in this industry.

It's a perfect match.
