Kerr clarifies concern over Dray-JP incident vs. video leak

In addressing the media on Saturday, Warriors coach Steve Kerr very clearly was upset that the video of Draymond Green's altercation with Jordan Poole in practice last Wednesday leaked.

After his press conference, some believed that Kerr appeared more concerned with the fact that the video leaked rather than the violent altercation itself. In speaking to reporters on Monday after Warriors practice, Kerr clarified where his concerns lie.

"I'm concerned about both," Kerr said. "They're both a problem. The incident was a problem, the leak was a problem. I don't rank these things.

"My job as a coach is to prepare us to play and make sure we can put the best team on the floor as possible. That job requires a ton of navigation and it's very tricky. And it's made much trickier when there is a leak because everything is out in the open. The job is to handle everything behind the scenes with conversations and then when it's out in the open, answering questions like this one.

"But we are going to get through all of this and we're going to be OK. They both concern me."

The Warriors immediately opened an investigation into the source of the leak on Friday and will do everything in their power to determine where it originated from.

Kerr's point is that even though he is concerned with the actual incident itself, the leaked video only amplifies the situation, which makes everything more difficult for himself and his players.
