Juan Toscano-Anderson felt fully supported Wednesday in a time of need.
The Oakland native and Warriors rookie started a peaceful protest around Lake Merritt, and was joined by teammates Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Damion Lee and Kevon Looney. Curry's wife, Ayesha, also joined in on the march.
On Thursday, Toscano-Anderson thanked his teammates and the organization as a whole for their support.

Throughout the protest, the Warriors tweeted photos and videos is support of Golden State players protesting racial injustices and police brutality stemming from the death of George Floyd, an African American man in Minneapolis, who died in police custody.

Curry posted an Instagram video from the protest while praising his teammate, and Thompson called Toscano-Anderson a "true leader."

Toscano-Anderson, 27, attended Castro Valley High School and averaged 5.3 points per game as rookie with the Warriors this season.
